"Stand back, skating fans! The Boogie-man's
gonna get ya'-and what a wonderful way to go!
Jim
Bray's the movie babe who stars in Roller
Boogie, and one eyeful of this foxy newcomer will flip you head over
wheels in love--if you haven't fallen already!
Jumpin'Jim "Flash" (his nickname!) really has it all--incredibly-good
looks, natural acting ability, and the smooth skatin' moves of a champion,
which he certainly is! Jim's been roller boogie-ing for 13 of his 19
years (he just celebrated on Feb 23), and he's got 275 trophies and ten US
champ titles to show for it--all he's missing is the international gold
medal, and he may compete for it in the 1984 Olympics if he isn't too
busy makin' movies by then. Jim's beautiful blue-green eyes, thick n'
touchable brown hair (a-glow with red highlights!), and dazzingly perfect
smile were made to be up on the screen, and you won't have to wait
too long to see him there again 'cause he'll be filming another movie this
spring!
Meanwhile Jim's got three things to keep him busy--sports, letters from you,
and girls! Jim plays tennis, football, and basketball, jogs three miles a
day, goes skiing (he used to work on a ski patrol), and swims in his
Hollywood apartment's pool--or in the ocean near his Newport Beach house.
See why Jim has no trouble staying a slim 145lbs? He's also an avid disco
dancer (he's great without wheels, too) who loves to move to the sounds
Chic--though rockers like Supertramp, Led Zep, and the Cars are his true
favorites! Jim used to sing in a rock
band and would love to get back in the
musical groove! His other passions are driving (Jim's other wheels
are on a Fiat X19.) Italian and Romanian food, shopping for sporting goods
and clothes (he's a terrific dresser!) [ED: Um, sure he is..]
and dating lively, friendly girls who'd like to join him for all of the
above.
A date with Jim may mean a beach barbeque, seeing a scary horror flick,
skating (don't be shy--he'd be glad to teach ya'!) or a long 'n leisurely
talk' cause that's what he loves to do most--Jim's even called some
fans who've sent him especially nice letters! Could you be the roller
skatin' mate Jim is looking for?"
