Jim Bray Interview:

Consistant with existing fashion at the moment in Mexico, came to act Jim Bray, protagonist of "Roller Boogie", to put film in vogue skating on wheels.

For this reason I went to some of the trials at 2:00PM (already before made the other appointment through a person of the company that brought him to Mexico.) Having reached the dressing room and after a little joke, we start the interview by asking Jim Bray to talk a little about him.

JB - I have done something film but before that I spent skating since the age of six, as a sport. After I did drama in school, I stopped skating when I was sixteen years old because I started to have some auditions in film, television commercials for, so I already had two years of not skating. I was practicing for two weeks before coming to this show to Mexico.

However really respect to my person you can tell that I am a boy with a lot of energy, I like to know each kinds of people, I love all people and what happens to it. I think some of my qualities can be that I like everything to perfection, I like that everything is perfect, that makes me work harder, but when I see the results, my satisfaction is great.

CA - Which do you prefer acting or skating?

JB - I like acting and singing, I am also a singer. In January next I will be filming in Acapulco (Acapulco Roller Boogie) and I will sing all the songs in the movie, so I will act, skating and singing. Now I have my own TV program (HAPPY DAYS) and it looks like I will do another one.

You may think that skating is performed by money, but it does not, for that is cinema. I do so because my friends. You see all the people who take part in the show and you'll know that skaters are very good, but that's all I know how to do and need to feel that people admire, they need money, I do not, as are all my friends I just try to help everyone. That is why we prefer the performance, even in these days, is devoted to skating.

CA - What do you try to express when you skate?

JB - Act, sing and skate are the same; are artistic events and art is the means to represent human passions; love, hate, etc...

Yes, we will make some presentations on TV as publicity for the movie, but do not think we are going to present some clue to skating shows. Linda is not a skater.

CA - All things must pass, what will happen when you pass the fashionable ROLLER BOOGIE?

JB - Yes, probably by February, after the film.
